Пандемия SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) выдвинула на первый план использование телемедицины при оказании медицинской помощи во время чрезвычайной ситуации в области общественного здравоохранения для дистанционной оценки состояния больного и оказания медицинской помощи пациентам, уже инфицированным коронавирусом, или тем, кто боится заражения COVID-19 посредством личных контактов.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Исследовать реакцию систем здравоохранения мира и входящих в них медицинских учреждений на ситуацию, вызванную пандемией COVID-19, с использованием телемедицины, каковы её практическое применение и вклад в здравоохранение в эпоху пандемии COVID-19.</p></sec><sec><title>Методы</title><p>Методы. Поисковый анализ опубликованных литературных данных проводился, в том числе при помощи англоязычной базы медицинских и биологических публикаций PubMed. Наиболее актуальная информация получена с некоторых тематических веб-сайтов.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Обсуждены понятие телемедицины, законодательные основы и текущие тенденции практического её применения. Подтверждено, что в ответ на пандемию COVID-19 и необходимость управления инфекционным процессом наблюдался резкий рост использования телемедицины и мобильных приложений. Оценены реформы политики поставщиков медицинских услуг и медицинского страхования, а также аптечных сетей в ряде стран мира для интеграции телемедицины в практику в ответ на пандемию COVID-19. Установлено, что расширение применения телемедицины в эпоху COVID-19 поставило общество в целом перед необходимостью решения ряда практических задач, препятствующих прогрессу в этой сфере. Проанализированы рекомендации профессиональных медицинских организаций по телемедицине в период пандемии COVID-19, высказаны попытки решения проблем передовой телемедицинской практики.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Использование телемедицины бесспорно эффективно в продвижении социального дистанцирования   и изоляции/карантина пациентов, что является проверенным средством усиления позиций общественного здравоохранения в ходе противодействия распространения коронавируса. Необходимость социального дистанцирования сделала телемедицину решающим фактором в борьбе против пандемийного распространения COVID-19.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. The SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic highlighted the use of telemedicine in healthcare delivery during a public health emergency to remotely assess and provide care to patients already infected with the coronavirus or those fearing exposure to COVID-19 through face-to-face contact.</p></sec><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. Explore the response of the world’s health systems and their medical institutions to the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic using telemedicine and its practical application and contribution to health care in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.</p></sec><sec><title>Methods</title><p>Methods. A search analysis of published literature data was conducted using the English-language database of medical and biological publications PubMed. The most up-to-date information is obtained from relevant websites.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The concept of telemedicine, its legislative framework, and current trends in its practical application are discussed. It has been confirmed that there has been a sharp increase in the use of telemedicine and mobile applications in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for infection control. Assessed healthcare provider, health insurance, and pharmacy policy reforms in several countries to integrate telemedicine into practice in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been established that the expansion of the use of telemedicine in the COVID-19 era has confronted society as a whole with the need to solve some practical problems that impede progress in this area. The recommendations of professional medical organizations regarding telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic were analyzed, and attempts were made to solve the problems of advanced telemedicine practice.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The use of telemedicine is undeniably effective in promoting social distancing and isolation/quarantine of patients, which is a proven means of strengthening the public health position in countering the spread of coronavirus.
