Он представляет собой обновленную и отредактированную версию недавней работы «Клиническая фармакология в науке, образовании и здравоохранении — взгляд IUPHAR, Международного объединения по общей и клинической фармакологии», которая была опубликована в «Журнале общей и клинической фармакологии и токсикологии» (BСPT) в 2010, том 107, страницы 531–559.
